The new Dutch cabinet was presented to the public on Tuesday. The cabinet consists of members of the VVD, CDA and PVV. The cabinet is led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte. The other members of the cabinet are:
- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations: Maxime Verhagen (CDA)
- Minister of Foreign Affairs: Uri Rosenthal (VVD)
- Minister of Finance: Jeroen Dijsselbloem (PvdA)
- Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation: Henk Kamp (VVD)
- Minister of Social Affairs and Employment: Lodewijk Asscher (PvdA)
- Minister of Justice: Ivo Opstelten (VVD)
- Minister of Defence: Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert (VVD)
- Minister of Education, Culture and Science: Jet Bussemaker (PvdA)
- Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment: Melanie Schultz van Haegen (VVD)
- Minister for Health, Welfare and Sport: Edith Schippers (VVD)
The cabinet's priorities include reducing the national debt, creating jobs and improving education. The cabinet also plans to introduce a number of reforms to the social security system.
